Join us as our new Crane Superintendent!

We are looking for a new colleague to strengthen our technical team: a working environment consisting of skilled, positive and enthusiastic employees. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Follow up cranes and other lifting appliances in the fleet.
  • Follow up maintenance plans and participate in budget process for cranes.
  • Follow up of class- and flag state requirements for lifting appliance.
  • Monitor and report cranes technical performance and to initiate immediate and corrective actions as required.
  • Participate in planning of Main Class Renewal and travel to yard when necessary.
  • Contact point for the vessels in day-to-day operations when related to crane activities.
  • Participate in dialogue with clients.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience from Active Heave Compensated Cranes.
  • Crane competent certification according to global standards rules and regulations is beneficial.
  • Relevant technical educations in general hydraulic systems and design are beneficial.
  • Experience as Crane Superintendent or Service Engineer for Subsea cranes are beneficial.
  • We appreciate initiative and enthusiasm.
  • Good communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.

Location

This position will be based at our UK office in Aberdeen or at one of our Norwegian offices in Bergen or at Storebø, depending on the candidate.
