DOF Group ASA (“DOF”) is pleased to announce one new long-term RSV contract in Brazil.
Following the same competitive tender process that resulted in six 4-year RSV contract awards previously announced, DOF is pleased to announce the signing of a 4-year contract with Petrobras for the RSV Skandi Commander. A unique feature of Skandi Commander's contract is that it features an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) to be utilised as part of the vessel's duties in addition to the Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV). Expected commencement of the contract is in January 2027. The value of the contract is approximately USD 150 million. Mons Aase, DOF Group ASA CEO, commented:
"I am proud of our achievements in Brazil this year, adding in excess of USD 2 billion to our backlog from the AHTS, RSV and PIDF tenders. We celebrate a milestone with 25 years of DOF in Brazil this year, and we now have a strong foundation for continued value creation in the years to come with a large portion of our fleet in Brazil on firm contracts that go beyond 2030."
