We are currently looking for a dedicated Health Coordinator to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the health and well-being of our employees while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations across our operational areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement health programs and initiatives that promote employee well-being.
Monitor and report on health assessments, potential health risks, and the implementation of health protocols.
Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
Provide guidance and support for occupational health issues, including work-related injuries and illnesses.
Conduct training and workshops to raise awareness about health and wellness among employees.
Collaborate with teams to promote a safety-first work culture.
Stay updated on changes in health regulations and best practices.
Requirements
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Medicine or Nursing;
Experience in a health and safety role, preferably in the oil and gas or marine industry.
Knowledge of health legislation and regulations pertinent to workplace health.
Additional training in Occupational Medicine/Nursing;
Active registration with the respective Professional Council (CRM or COREN);
For physicians, specialization in Occupational Medicine registered with the Federal Medical Council (RQE);
Knowledge of HSEQ procedures;
Knowledge of Regulatory Standards (NRs);
Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 18001/45001, and 14001).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment;
Work Environment:
Work Environment: The role involves working primarily in an office environment, with occasional travel to offshore locations or Macaé for health assessments and audits as required.
