DOF Group ASA (“DOF”) is pleased to announce an addendum to its long-term inspection contract (PIDF) with Petrobras in Brazil.
The addendum comprises additional scope of work, which is expected to be concluded by the end of 2025. Stril Explorer, Geoholm and Skandi Carla are currently operating on this contract.
The combined value of the addendum in excess of USD 50 million.
Furthermore, DOF is pleased to announce one new long-term contract in Brazil.
Following the same competitive tender process that resulted in the previously announced contract awards of the three vessels Skandi Achiever, Skandi Carla and Geoholm, Brazilian-flagged Skandi Salvador is now also contracted on a 4-year term-charter with Petrobras. Skandi Salvador will operate with two work class ROVs and subsea crane. The vessel is expected to be delivered in December 2025.
The value of the contract is approximately USD 165 million.

DOF Subsea has been awarded several contracts securing utilisation of personnel and vessels in the Subsea IMR Projects segment. DOF Subsea has been awarded a contract in the Atlantic region by MHI Vestas Offshore Wind for the Skandi Constructor. The contract will commence at the end of Q3 and secures utilisation until the end of 2018. Petrobras has awarded DOF Subsea Brasil a contract for utilization of the Brazilian built OSV vessel Skandi Salvador. The 650 days firm contract (plus 650 days extension by mutual agreement) will commence in July. Skandi Salvador is currently working for Shell Brasil. TechnipFMC and DOF Subsea (DOF) announce that the Skandi Recife 500 tons underdeck carousel and two work-class ROVs allowing her to lay flexible pipes in water depths up to 2 500 meters. She was built by Vard Promar Brazilian yard where her sister ship Skandi Olinda is currently under construction with a high rate of Brazilian national content. Under the TechnipFMC/DOF joint venture agreement TechnipFMC will manage flexible pipelay and DOF will be responsible for marine operations. DOF Subsea CEO Mons S. All individuals have a responsibility within the DOF Group towards the environment as outlined in the DOF Group policy. All personnel must complete the Environmental Awareness E-Learning module to gain a greater understanding of individual roles and responsibilities.
The Environmental Management System (EMS) takes into account industry bodies, guidelines, codes of practice and best practice techniques at local, regional, national and international levels.
In certain cases, it may be necessary for activity-specific or project- specific environmental management plans to be constructed. The content will be defined by specific factors such as client requirements, project work scope, ecological/social factors and local legislative / statutory requirements.
There are a number of principles used by DOF Group to help frame our approach and commitment to the management of the environment in which we work:

The DOF Group has a series of systems to identify foreseeable hazards and risks for Group activities. "As Low As Reasonably Practicable" (ALARP) is the tolerated level of environmental risk. Environmental impact is included in project risk assessment where there is an obvious potential for impact to the environment.
DOF Group utilises a number of control measures including Continuous Review, Procedural / Organisational Barriers, and Technical Barriers.

Defining and measuring environmental sustainability risks associated with business operations is an important activity for the DOF Group. The 2020 result is a clear statement of the Company’s commitment and the DOF Group will continue to develop the reporting routines, accuracy in reporting and target setting to improve further in the coming years.
Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is an international, not-for-profit organization providing the only global system for companies and cities to measure, disclose, manage and share vital environmental information.
